Who we are
Mission Statement
At Calibre, we’re passionate about helping players grow through expert coaching and a love for the game. We carefully curate a selection of practices that are evidence-based and practical for skill acquisition and game awareness. Unlike traditional practices, which emphasise the practice itself, we approach coaching with a player-centred approach, designing and executing practices based on individual and collective player needs.

Our Story
Calibre began with Josh right after his time at University studying Sport, Coaching and Physical Education. He noticed a gap in the North Oxford market for experienced coaches for local teams such as Summertown Stars. Initially called JLM Coaching, Josh spent the better part of 10 years developing coaching in North Oxford, securing contracts with Summertown Stars and receiving coaching offers from other local teams, including Mansfield Road. Now re-branded as Calibre, Josh is on a mission to further fill the gap in the coaching market by offering experienced and qualified coaches to coach teams.
